Fall 2015 - Advisement and Registration Information for Continuing Students of:

Rutgers Business School - Undergraduate (School 29)

 

INITIAL REGISTRATION BEGINS - via WEBREG on Sunday, April 12, 2015 (11:00pm-2:00am) through Friday, April 17, 2015 in accordance with the Initial Registration Schedule

Fall 2015 Schedule of Classes will be available online around March 30, 2015.

General Information

 

RBS Advisement

The Registration process begins with students reviewing their academic record and selecting courses required to complete the conditions of a BS degree in their chosen business major as well as their declared 2nd/3rd major(s), concentrations and/or minor(s). As such, it is strongly recommended that student seek advisement from an advisor at RBS and from department(s) offering the major(s)/minor(s) declared by the student.

Students may also find the Degree Navigator to be a great resource to help make informed decisions regarding their academic progress. However, students should still meet with an academic advisor to discuss degree progress. The Degree Navigator report will help students to forecast degree completion and is used for planning purposes only.

 

Web Registration (WEBREG) Restrictions

Most continuing students will have direct access to WEBREGat (http://webreg.rutgers.edu). However students in the following categories will be restricted from WEBREG (Registration/Add/Drop) and must see an undergraduate academic advisor at RBS for permission to register in-person. Once advised, students may then bring the authorized Academic Advisement form to the Office of the Registrar at Blumenthal Hall in order to register for approved courses.

  • Newly admitted Freshmen for Spring 2015 (*see NOTE below)
  • All RBS students with a cumulative average below 2.5
  • Non-Matriculated students enrolled at RBS
  • Students who have applied for May Graduation

*NOTE: Newly admitted Freshmen for Spring 2015 are restricted from using WEBREG until they are properly advised. Once advised and approved to use WEBREG Freshmen may bring a copy of their authorized advisement form to the Office of the Registrar where the WEBREG access is granted.

Once WEBREG access is granted, student course Registration, changes/modofications may be done through the WEBREG system until the end of the Add/Drop period.

 

In-Person Registration

Students who are unable to use WEBREG to register for classes may visit the Office of the Registrar at Blumenthal Hall to register in person during our regular Hours of Operation.

In-person registration will be available during this Initial Registration period in accordance with the Initial Registration Schedule.
The operating hours for this week are as follows:
Mon - Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm
Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 8:30am to 6:00pm for Fall 2015 registration.

After the Initial Registration period students may visit our office during our Normal Hours of Operation:
During the Fall/Spring semester when classes are in session.
Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. - 8:30am - 4:30pm
Wed. 10:00am - 6:00pm (only during the regular academic year when classes are in session September - May).
Otherwise Wed. 8:30am - 4:30pm.

In-person registration will continue after the Initial Registration period, until the end of the Add/Drop period.

NOTE: In-person registration for NJIT courses will continue after the Initial Registration period, until the end of the the NJIT Add/Drop period (see NJIT Fall 2015 Academic Calendar here).
