Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar is responsible for coordinating registration procedures in conjunction with the schools and colleges of Rutgers University, Newark. We are also responsible for the preparation, maintenance and security of academic records, grade processing, transcripts, verifications and ordering of diplomas. Our website provides related forms and information to assist students, alumni, faculty, staff and other constituents.
The Registrar’s Office is dedicated to providing the Newark Community with courteous and timely registration and enrollment services. We hold ourselves accountable for maintaining accurate and current information to both internal and external constituents in accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We strive to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in meeting the needs and expectations of the populations we serve.
